Make Every Day Count

The mission of Adam’s Army is to support the efforts of St. Jude by helping to be the “Voice for the Voiceless”.

The founder, Adam Cruthirds, diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age 16 in 2014, created Adam’s Army to help carry on the legacies of friends who have died and help the little ones that can’t speak up. His grueling 2 and 1/2 year treatment plan that concluded in February 2017 was beyond tough, but it has made him realize that childhood cancer can and must end with us supporting St. Jude.

We seek to spread this message of faith and hope throughout the world and do our part to help realize Danny Thomas’ belief that “no child should die in the dawn of their life.” We are making every day count.

Carson Head

This is Adam’s mentor, Carson Head. Sadly, a cure wasn’t found quickly enough for her and she passed away at age 9 on June 26, 2015 from Osteosarcoma. Carson is one of the main reasons Adam’s Army does what it does. Carson deserved a better chance to live.

Luis Aguilar

Luis, pictured left, passed away from Osteosarcoma on February 14, 2015, a few weeks after this photo was taken. Luis was a dear friend from Honduras who was also a mentor to Adam. He showed Adam the importance of watching out for the little ones in treatment and making sure that as older patients they helped the younger ones get their needs met.

Hannah Tate

Adam and one of his very best friends, Hannah Tate. Hannah taught us all so much about living with faith. She died in January 2016 from Wilm’s Tumor. We miss her very much.
